The RunNation Film Festival presented by Travelling Fit is the only film festival in Australia dedicated to showing inspirational running films from around the world. We don't focus just on trails, track, road or ultra running; we focus on human-interest stories that use running as their medium of storytelling.

The 2018 RunNation Film Festival will feature two world premieres among many other captivating, fast-moving and emotive short films. These films have been carefully curated with mesmerising cinematography and thought-provoking storylines, featuring heart-pounding races from the all points of view, from the elite athlete to the back-of-the-pack runner.

RunNation Film Festival is delighted to have Altra as our 2018 event shoe partner. Altra shoes feature unique Zero Drop™ technology, which eliminates the height difference between the heel and toe of the shoe. In most running shoes, the heel is significantly elevated. Altra believes that a large height difference encourages heel-striking, leading to increased landing impact and resulting in running injuries.

Altra shoes also implement a wide toe box, which promotes natural toe splay when running to improve your comfort. Their women’s shoes are designed for female feet, with a narrower heel and midfoot, longer arch, higher instep and unique toe shape.

The RunNation Film Festival presented by Travelling Fit is excited to partner with 'Love Mercy' as the event's charity partner for 2018. Love Mercy exists to empower communities in Northern Uganda to overcome poverty caused by the horrors of war. Love Mercy began in 2010 in Sydney, Australia after Eloise Wellings, Australian Olympian, met Ugandan Olympian and former child soldier, Julius Achon. She promised to fulfill his dream of restoring hope to his village in Northern Uganda after decades of civil war. Love Mercy sees a future where Northern Uganda is transformed through simple solutions to poverty. Their projects increase access to education, healthcare and income generation and are funded entirely by generous donations from the public.
